First Year Students are students with no previous college experience

Application Requirements:


  1. Visit YCCC for a mandatory one-on-one meeting with an Admissions Representative to discuss which academic program will best meet your career goals.  Call the Admissions Office at (207) 216-4409 to schedule your appointment. 
  2. Complete the free on-line application located in the Admissions section of the www.yccc.edu homepage.=
  3. Request that your official high school transcript or GED be sent directly to the YCCC Admissions Office.


After Meeting the Application Requirements AND You Have Received Your Acceptance Letter from YCCCC:


  1. Contact the Admissions Office to set up your assessment and/or registration appointment.
  2. Complete your immunization form included in your acceptance packet and return it to Enrollment Services.
  3. Begin checking your YCCC email account and student portal with your new user name and password to access important news and updates. The YCCC email account and student portal are our prime forms of communication!
