Continuing Dental Education
York County Community College’s Dental Education Program offers a variety of certificate and continuing dental education courses for all dental health professionals.   Begin your career with our Dental Assisting program, advance your skills in the Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary program, or complete Continuing Dental Education hours through seminars and lectures.  Click here for more information. 
Certified Nursing Assistant
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CAN) provides quality care to patients and supports the Registered Professional Nurse in a variety of duties.  A CNA is often a patient’s main caregiver, and assists in daily tasks such as bathing and grooming.  During this course, students will learn to take vital signs, use a variety of assistive devices to properly and safely transfer patients, assist in personal care, and assist in nutrition and hydration of patients.  Instruction will take place in both a lab and clinical setting, where students will gain hands-on experience in performing required skills.  This program will be offered again in 2017. 
Paralegal Studies
 The work of a paralegal requires a variety of skills, and the demand for well-educated paralegals remains high.  Paralegals work in a variety of settings including law offices, nonprofit organizations and government agencies where they provide legal assistance to lawyers and other legal professionals.  The duties of a paralegal are varied and include document preparation, research, interviews, and filing motions.  Click here to learn more about certification and other professional development courses for paralegals.
