YCCC's Dual Enrollment Program is designed to give qualified high school and home-schooled Juniors & Seniors an opportunity to experience college-level classes, while they're still in high school!

It is appropriate for students who wish to experience a college classroom, explore career options, and earn both high school & college credit-at the same time! On this page, you can find a sampling of typical Dual Enrollment courses. Many general education and technical courses are available to students through the Dual Enrollment Program. Eligibility Requirements

Be a high school or home-schooled Junior or Senior.
Have the necessary prerequisites for the desired course.
Have permission from a parent and guidance counselor.
Pay for associated tuition, fees, and textbooks.

Dual Enrollment Registration Process:

Discuss Dual Enrollment with your guidance counselor and parents and make sure it is right for you! Use the course schedule to help you decide what classes work best with your schedule. If you are having trouble deciding on classes, set up an appointment with a YCCC Admissions Representative to discuss your options.
Complete the Dual Enrollment Program registration form with the help of your high school guidance counselor & parent, and submit it to the YCCC Admissions Office for approval and registration. (If you have not already consulted with a YCCC Admissions Representative you may be asked to do so at this time.)
Make payment arrangements with the Business Office.
Visit the College Bookstore to purchase your books.
Check out the YCCC Academic Calendar, as it will not be the same as your high school calendar!

How much does it cost?
Each course at YCCC is $80 per credit, plus college fees and college textbooks. An average 3 credit course costs students approximately $350.
