graduate or GED recipient and rolling admissions 7 days prior to the
September, January or Summer semesters, YCCC is open to all seacoast Maine,
New Hampshire and Massachusetts residents.
Our friendly atmosphere and
supportive faculty takes the fear out of attending college.
When you step foot on the YCCC campus you feel
welcomed and appreciated. It doesn’t matter whether you are entering college
right after high school or if you have been out of school for years, it’s
only natural to be nervous and apprehensive. Everyone at YCCC, from the
admissions staff who welcomed you to campus to the faculty who teach you
each day, wants you to have a successful college experience. There are
always open doors with friendly faces waiting to help you make the
transition to college life.
You don’t have to leave
York County to get a great education.
The grass is always greener on the other side
or so the cliché states. We know you have lots of great options when it
comes to choosing a college so it’s easy to overlook the hidden jewel in
your back yard. We encourage you to visit YCCC’s beautiful campus located
between Exit 19 on the Maine Turnpike and the salty air of the Atlantic
Ocean at Wells Beach. You don’t have to roam far and wide for excellence!
Explore your passions in
and out of the classroom.
Yes, we know that YCCC is a commuter college,
but did you know that you can be as involved in other activities as you
choose to be? YCCC is the youngest of the Maine community college system
(founded in 1994) so you have the opportunity to help us develop a lively
campus. With activities as diverse as Student Senate, Phi Theta Kappa,
Animation Club, Dance-Dance Revolution, concerts, visiting artists and
recreational sports, YCCC is growing outside the classroom. Want to start a
club? Get a faculty advisor and get approval from Student Senate to share
your passion with YCCC!
A superior college
experience does not have to break the bank.
Just because we are affordable($80/credit for
Maine residents) does not mean that we are inferior. Our faculty is
comprised of experienced educators who believe in the core values of YCCC.
Our low tuition rates and full range of federal scholarships, grants, loans
and work-study opportunities give each student a chance at a quality
education at an affordable price.
Flexible schedules for an
inflexible world.
Your life is hectic juggling, work, family and
your education. At YCCC we offer many classes morning, afternoon, evening
and on-line to try and make a college education as accessible as we can.
With a variety of degree and certificate programs available, we strive to
work around your life to get you the education you have dreamed about.
