Are you good at public speaking? If so, we are excited to tell you about a new volunteer opportunity sponsored by the YCCC Alumni Association. It's the YCCC Alumni Speakers Bureau, a directory of YCCC graduates and community leaders who are available to speak in a variety of settings on a variety of topics. The directory will be made available to faculty, college administration and community organizations interested in having a graduate speak at their event. For example, a faculty member might want to invite a graduate from their program to talk to current students. Or, the college may want to have a YCCC alumnus speak at commencement. Having a directory of available speakers will help us match qualified speakers to speaking opportunities as they arise.
Help us make this new program a success. Our goal is to establish a well-qualified pool of dynamic speakers who can speak on varying topics, according to professional expertise, background, and interests.
If you are interested in being a speaker, please fill out the form below. A panel of staff, alumni, and students will review the topics for level of interest. If you are selected, you will be contacted prior to publishing the directory to confirm your participation and clarify any information if necessary. We will also publish the directory on-line.
