To Apply:
- Review the requirements for each scholarship.
- You must satisfy all of a scholarship's criteria to apply for it, and you may apply for as many scholarships as you are eligible.
- Fully complete the YCCC Application Form.
- Submit the application, along with any required documents and forms, to the Foundation Office by the deadline listed on the Application.
- If you have questions, please contact the Foundation office.
Availability:
- Endowed scholarships are available each year.
- Annual scholarships are awarded each year the donor renews the gift.
- The number of scholarships offered, as well as the elements in each, may vary from year to year.
General Guidelines:
- Foundation scholarships are for York County Community College Students.
- Some scholarships have minimum grade point averages (GPA)
- The main opportunity to apply for scholarships is during the spring and fall semesters. Watch bulletin boards in Financial Aid for additional opportunities.
Definitions:
- Academic year: Generally fall through spring terms
- Full-time student: Enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits each semester
- Part-time student: Enrolled in a minimum of six credits each semester
Selection:
- The YCCC Foundation Scholarship Committee reviews the applications.
- Recommendations are made to the YCCC Foundation to each scholarship program.
- Students receiving an award are notified.
