Program Description

This program provides a flexible curriculum designed to meet the needs of students having career goals in the computer technology field. This comprehensive degree provides students with personal computer experience and the opportunity to: acquire problem-solving skills; navigate the digital world; work effectively with the interoperability and usability of separate information systems; and ask appropriate questions to gather needed data to solve problems. Career employment and occupational outlook studies show the value of post-secondary education to a person’s career opportunities and earnings potential. Students work with their faculty advisor to develop a plan for selecting courses that fulfill their career goals.
