Program Description
The
Computer Support Specialist Certificate Program meets the needs of
students interested in improving their computer skills for personal
growth, career development, and improving job performance. Students may
explore computer programming, web development, or computer networking.
Graduates of the program may provide technical assistance to computer
system users and answer questions or resolve computer problems for
clients in person, via telephone or from a remote location. Graduates
may provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and
software, including printing, installation, application, and operating
systems. Typical job titles include: Microcomputer Support Specialist;
Network Control Operator; and Technical Support Specialist.
