Program Description
The
Food Service Specialist Certificate Program prepares students for
employment in the food service industry. Through a combination of
classroom instruction and assigned experiences in the program’s
kitchen lab, students receive training in nutrition, menu planning,
kitchen sanitation and safety, food preparation, food purchase and
storage, and meal serving. Note:
This Certificate Program articulates with the Associate in Applied
Science Degree Program in Culinary Arts.
