Chef Tracy Anello of Anello’s Pastries in Wells will cook up these international delights.  She may have guest chefs join her - - - or budding chefs from the audience.  These are nights to get together with our neighbors, chat, learn to cook these special treats, but most of all to EAT!  

Sicilian Night

February 13, 2008

6:00 – 9:00 p.m.

$35 per person 

Appetizer:         Black olive, sun dried tomato and mozzarella bruschetta

                        Pan fried parmesan ravioli with fresh garlic and basil marinara 

Main course:     Spinach and goat cheese gnocchi with sun dried tomatoes, pine nuts and lemon 

                        Imported penne with olive tempanade, fresh garlic and Parmigiano-Reggiano 

Dessert:            Traditional Sicilian cannoli with sweetened ricotta and pistachios

 

Irish Night

March 12, 2008

6:00 – 9:00 p.m.

$35 per person  

Appetizer:         Bird Flanagan potato pancakes

                        Buttermilk currant scones                

Main course:     Corned beef and carrots with marmalade-whiskey glaze served with traditional Irish soda bread 

Dessert:            Jameson Irish whiskey cake  

German Night

April 9, 2008

6:00 – 9:00 p.m.

$35 per person 

Appetizer:         Classic warmed German potato salad

                        Bratwurst braised in beer, apples and onions 

Main course:     Sauteed pork chops with sweet and sour red cabbage 

Dessert:            Warmed apple strudel

Appetizer:         Constantine 's Naple style antipasto

                        Italian wedding soup 

Main course    Grana padano chicken with sun dried tomatoes and basil

served over imported bavette

Tortellini with rock shrimp and pesto 

Dessert:            Tiramisu with marscapone and shaved chocolate
