Age Range :                               7 - 12 years old  

Course Goals and Objective  

To provide children with experience in the theatrical performing arts through education, practice  and performance.  Participants will learn the fundamentals of singing and performance, as well as basic dance routines and theatre skills.  The session will culminate in a performance showcasing the participants in ensemble and small group numbers.  Spring semester course will focus on popular Broadway musicals.  

Participant Requirements:

▪  Comfortable clothes to move around in (no skirts or dress clothes for rehearsals)

                                      ▪  Sneakers or dance shoes for rehearsal (no dress shoes, heels, socks, or bare feet)

                                       ▪  Long hair should be secured back and away from the face
