  1. Can I march at commencement in May if I can't graduate until the following August or December?

Yes, if you are within 3 credits of graduation at the end of the Spring term.

  1. If I participated in commencement and completed my program requirements in a later semester do I need to do anything to get my diploma?

Yes, you must fill out a new Intent-to-Graduate Form to let the Registrar's Office know that you have completed your requirements (an additional fee is not required).  A final degree audit will be performed to certify that you have met graduation requirements.  After you have been certified as graduated we will order your diploma.

  1. How does my name appear on the diploma?

Exactly as you have listed it on your Intent-to-Graduate form.

  1. Where is my diploma sent?

To the address you listed on your Intent-to-Graduate Form, unless you have since updated your address with the Registrar's Office.

  1. When will I receive my diploma?

Diplomas will be order after semester grades have been received and a final degree audit has been performed.  Receipt of diplomas will be approximately three months following the completion of the final semester.  Students graduating in May should receive their diplomas in August, those graduating in December should receive their diplomas in March.

  1. What are diploma dimensions?

Diplomas are 9" X 7". 

  1. When are intent-to-graduate forms due to the Registrar's Office?

Students who will complete their program requirements or will be eligible to participate in commencement this academic year must submit an Intent-to-Graduate Form and $50.00 fee to the Registrar's Office by October 15th.

  1. How much is the fee for graduation?

The fee is $50.00 and must be paid when the Intent-to-Graduate form is turned in.

  1. What should I do if I need proof of graduation before receipt of my diploma?

Request an official transcript after final grades have been posted.  Your transcript will be notated with your graduation date and credential earned.

  1. If I lose my diploma can I get a new one?

Yes.  The cost is $20.00.   A signed letter should be sent to the Registrar's Office listing your name, dates of attendance, social security number and mailing address.
