Career Research on the Internet
It is obvious to all that
the Internet is a major part of life in the 21st century. The
Internet can be a tremendous assistance to you in your career search.
You can use the Internet in
several ways:
- Review
job postings on career sites (see links and descriptions below).
- Check
employer sites for openings listed in their employment or human
resources section. (For example, jobs that are open at YCCC are listed
under “Faculty and Staff” in the Human Resources section under
Employment Opportunities.
- Find
career information by using simple search engines such as Yahoo or
Google by plugging in “Accounting jobs in Maine” to see what sites
are listed.
