Bio:
Mr. Copley received a B.A. in History from the College of
William and Mary in 1975, and an M.B.A. from George Mason University
in 1991. After a short stint as a high school teacher, he left
education to become a stockbroker and Certified Financial Planner for
Merrill Lynch and E.F. Hutton. In
1982, he left Wall Street to start his own business.
Subsequently, he became Chief Operating Officer of Bethel
Bancorp, and President of Brunswick Federal Savings. In 1996, Mr. Copley left the business world to teach at
Andover College in Portland, first as an adjunct instructor, then as
Chair of Andover College’s Business Department.
Other Interests:
