PERMANENT EMPLOYEES TEACHING AS ADJUNCT INSTRUCTORS

   

This policy pertains to permanent employees of YCCC who teach as adjuncts during their regularly scheduled workday.

   

Employees of YCCC teaching a course at the college during their regularly scheduled work hours will be paid through an adjunct contract.  However, they will be required to utilize their lunch break and/or use earned time if they do not work their respective eight hours per day in their permanent position.

   

If an employee is teaching as an adjunct during evening hours or during a time period where they are not regularly scheduled to work, the employee will receive pay as an adjunct and will not be required to make up the time.
