RECRUITMENT – FACULTY

   
Faculty positions are advertised in newspapers selected to provide statewide coverage.
   

Notices of openings are posted on the posting bulletin board in YCCC faculty/staff lounge.  Notices are also sent to the six other technical colleges in the state, the State Department of Education, and appropriate departments of other colleges in the state, and will also be posted on www.yccc.edu.

   

The vice president/academic dean selects a faculty screening committee that reviews applications and interviews applicants.  Only the most qualified of the applicants are invited for personal interviews, which are at the applicant’s own expense.

   

The vice president/academic dean, after consulting with the screening committee, makes a recommendation to the president.
