New Student VA Benefits Checklist
Chapter 35 (Survivors and Dependents)

 Complete an Application for Education Benefits (VA Form 22-5490). 

 Submit your application and a copy of your parent's or spouse's VA documentation to:

 After enrolling in classes, complete a Request for Certification Form and submit to the Financial Aid office.  This form needs to be completed every semester in order for you to receive your educational benefits.

 

Note:  Some Chapter 35 students are eligible for tuition assistance from the State of Maine.  Please download an application and mail to:
