HAVE APPLIED FOR A 2008-09 STAFFORD/PARENT (PLUS) LOAN.

IMPORTANT:
If you recently received a letter from the YCCC Financial Aid Office
entitled: WE HAVE PROCESSED YOUR 2008-09 LOAN REQUEST. you may
continue the process of electronically signing your Master Promissory Note
(MPN). You will need the Adobe software to continue this process.
If
you have not recently received this letter from the YCCC Financial Aid
Office entitled as above, please do not continue as we may not have certified
a loan on your behalf, and you may not be able to electronically sign
your MPN Please check SIMS online, under .Documents, to see if we
have received a Stafford/PLUS loan application. If no application has been
received please print and submit one to us. Keep in mind, if you are a
first-time or transfer student borrower, you must complete and Entrance
Interview before we can process your loan. (previous screen)

Failure
to complete the above process may result in your Stafford/PLUS loan funds not
being disbursed to your YCCC Student Account with the Business Office.
If
you do not have access to the Internet from your home, a public library,
or the YCCC Library, please contact the Financial Aid Office. finaid@yccc.edu

IF I WANT TO CANCEL MY LOAN APPLICATION?
If
you do not plan on attending YCCC or want to cancel your loan
application, contact the YCCC Financial Aid Office at finaid@yccc.edu.

notification or view your financial aid record through SIMS online process

You will be taken to the Bank of America website where you will be asked to fill in information that can be found on the certification letter that the YCCC Financial Aid Office sent you. It is a five-step process that ends with the MPN signature. For questions regarding the Bank of America e-sign, please call 1-800-377-9095.
You will be directed to OpenNet to complete the process.First-time users will have to create a user ID and password. Once logged in,this loan will be ready for you to complete. If this Stafford loan is not available for electronically signing, you may have previously signed an MPN with this lender and are not required to sign another one.
