CAREER COUNSELING

Through one on one counseling sessions, workshops, speakers and on-campus recruiting events, YCCC strives to provide each student with the opportunity to gain employment in the career field of their choice.  Career counseling offers tips for making great first impressions on an interview, writing a knockout resume and learning how to dress for success so students can excel in their chosen profession.  The Career Counseling Office also invites employers to visit the campus and meet YCCC students, providing them with the opportunity to speak to potential candidates.

ONLINE CLASSES

We know you have a busy life so YCCC made it a priority to offer this alternative to traditional on-campus classes.  While a full degree cannot be earned online, you can make progress towards a degree from the comfort of your own home.  These interactive courses use an internet-based system that allows students to participate in class discussions, receive and submit documents and assignments, and have access to all resources, lectures and course materials.

DUAL ENROLLMENT PROGRAMS

YCCC’s Dual Enrollment Program offers qualified high school and home-schooled students the opportunity to experience college level classes while still in high school.  Many of the general education requirements, as well as technical courses, are available to students interested in this program.  You can discuss the Dual Enrollment Program with your guidance counselor to determine which programs you qualify for as a high school or home-schooled student.
