Biography: Angela earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire and holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University. As the coordinator of the Learning Center, she provides tutoring and coordinates the Learning Center services.

Biography:

Writing Specialist Amy Phalon has been teaching English at YCCC since 2007. She graduated from Middlebury College’s Bread Loaf School of English in 2001 with a Master of Arts in Writing.  Her undergraduate degree is from Colby College in Waterville, Maine where she majored in English with a minor in Environmental Studies. In addition to teaching, Amy is a freelance writer for Seacoast Media. She has also written articles for the New York Times, Antiques Roadshow Insider, and has published a children’s book.  In her spare time Amy enjoys reading, bicycling, and taking care of her 18th century home in York.

Biography:  Jennifer Saunders holds a Master of Arts degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania and has served as an adjunct faculty member at several area colleges. Jennifer's career as a professional writer spans more than a dozen years in journalism, magazine and public relations writing. Jennifer's passions include music, theatre, fiction writing and playwriting, and she is the co-author of "Submit," an historical drama that has become a featured offering of the Museums of Old York. Jennifer lives with her family in York where they are volunteer puppy-raisers for the nonprofit organization Canine Companions for Independence.
