Multi-Chamber Business After Hours a Huge Success

YCCC President Barbara Finkelstein recognized and thanked all of the Culinary Faculty and students who participated in the event.

Over 200 people from the York Region, Wells, Ogunquit, Kennebunk/Kennebunkport/Arundel,Biddeford + Saco and Sanford/Springvale Chambers gathered on campus last night for a multi-chamber Business After Hours.

All of the Chambers involved generously donated raffle ticket sales income to the York County Community College Foundation for student scholarship. We are please to announce that over $500 was raised.

The food at the event was prepared in a collaborative effort by YCCC Culinary students who are taking courses in International Cuisine, Pastries and Desserts, Street Foods and Small Plates. Special thanks to YCCC Faculty Chef Charlie Galemmo, Chef Krista Cochran and Chef Maria Richardson as well as all of the students who participated in the event; Cheryl Drisco, April Martin, Paul Peace, Kathleen Newbert, Carrie Dore, Shelby Simpson, Guiomar Pacheco, Jason Foye and Florence Dupee.Culinary BAH
