How to Order Textbooks For Online Courses


How to Order Books

Now that you have registered for an online course, you will need to purchase a textbook. Yes, you do need a textbook for your online course.

If you are also taking campus courses, you can purchase your online course books at the campus bookstore at the same time.

If you prefer to order a textbook online and have it sent to you, complete the following steps.

  1. Go to the bookstore page of the YCCC website.
  2. Scroll down the page until you see a link that reads "Purchase your books online at: www.efollet.com"
  3. In the Find Your Bookstore dropdown menu, select Maine and click on the Go button.
  4. Click on the Continue graphic located under the correct term.
  5. Select the department.
  6. Select the course number.
  7. If necessary, select the section number.
  8. In the Price dropdown menu, select Used or New.
  9. Click on the Add to Cart image.
  10. If you have more books to purchase for additional courses, click on the Continue Shopping link.
  11. When you have added all of the required books to your cart, click on the Checkout image.
  12. Complete the ordering process.
