Associate in Occupational Studies in Funeral
Service (Online)
The Partnership between American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service
(AAMI) and York County Community College (YCCC) allows Maine residents the
opportunity to complete the educational requirements to be licensed by the
American Board of Funeral Service Education (ABFSE) as a Funeral Director while
remaining in Maine (with the exception of a two-week clinical in New York City)
through online courses at both institutions. Students may begin their course of study at YCCC and then transfer up to

program offered by American Academy McAllister Institute.
