The York County Community College’s 22nd Commencement Ceremony kicked off Saturday with a bagpipe-accompanied processional of graduates, faculty and administration.

Out of 263 graduates, 128 participated in Saturday’s graduation ceremony, with residents from New Hampshire, Colorado, California, Iowa and North Carolina sprinkled among the students. Ninety percent of members of the 2017 graduating class were Maine residents, representing 40 different cities and towns.
