YCCC and the Maine Quality Centers (MQC) are pleased to announce that they have extended their agreement with Pratt & Whitney in North Berwick for eight additional cohorts of the Next Gen Machining Program.  The program will train up to 96 new hires over the next year.  The training, which is available to Maine residents only, includes 120 hours of instruction over 6 weeks in courses such as Precision Machining, Blueprint Reading, GD&T, and Math.

Since the partnership was first signed in February of 2015 YCCC has trained 15 Next Gen Machining cohorts for Pratt & Whitney.  The next section is anticipated to start in October 2017, and it is expected that training for all sections will be concluded by December 2018.
