The York County Community College Foundation was organized and recognized by the Internal Revenue Service in 1995 as a 501(c)(3), tax-exempt organization (EIN# 22-3451600). It is structurally separate from York County Community College and is governed by an appointed Board of Directors. The Foundation was formed at the time of YCCC’s founding because while traditional resources (state assistance and tuition/fees) typically support the basics of higher education – private gifts help make a college exceptional. The YCCC Foundation is the preferred channel for private gifts to the College through annual giving programs, planned gifts, and major or special gift campaigns. Gifts to the Foundation qualify for the maximum tax deduction allowed under the law.
The YCCC Foundation ensures that any eligible YCCC student who seeks a quality education at YCCC is financially able to do so.
The mission of the YCCC Foundation is to raise funds/resources from public, private, and other charitable organizations. We seek to support YCCC students and YCCC educational resources while maintaining responsible stewardship to our donors and creating strong community relations.
