Campaign Goal and Naming Opportunities

The York County Community College Foundation, in partnership with The Foundation for Maine’s Community Colleges, seeks to raise a minimum of $2.5 million in support of the new academic building at the college.

Thanks to the generosity of several funders, early leadership gifts to the campaign have totaled $1,075,000. Funds raised beyond $2.5 million will allow the college to reduce the loan from the Maine Community College System that is helping to fund the new building.

Each gift to the Campaign is essential. In recognition of major commitments, made over a time period of up to five years, the following naming opportunities are available:

Gift at $1,000,000 level

  • Building naming

 Gifts at $500,000 and $250,000 levels

  • Significant interior spaces, for example, the lobby and the performance auditorium

 Gifts at $100,000 and $175,000 levels

  • Standard classrooms and study galleries

Gifts at $75,000, $50,000 and $25,000 levels

  • Critical service areas such as independent study spaces and offices

Gifts between $5,000 and $25,000

  • Essential support areas and items such as storage spaces and elevators

Gifts under $5,000

  • Needed service and beautification items such as benches, chairs, trees and more
