Office of the President

Welcome to York County Community College!

YCCC is embarking on a new academic year and 2019-2020 promises to be an energizing one. We continue to offer a wide selection of excellent credit and non-credit courses, certificates and programs; we have specially tailored training for our industry partners; we have a vibrant Senior College and we offer a number of personal enrichment and cultural events for the citizens of York County such as our Eggs and Issues program featured six times during the academic year and the Visiting Artists series. We are also proud to be a partner with the York County Community College Foundation in its many efforts throughout the year to raise funds to support our students and programs.

During this academic year, we will be continuing to offer courses in a variety of designs to meet the needs of our diverse student body. You have the opportunity to take many of our classes online, during the two-week intersession in January 2020, over two seven-week Summer Sessions, or in seven-week formats embedded into our traditional semester.

We are pleased to highlight amongst our academic offerings this year new Certificates in Additive Manufacturing, Community Mental Health, and Hospitality & Tourism Management.  YCCC’s Certificate Programs are intended to equip students who are looking to enter the job market quickly with the skills they need. All of YCCC’s Certificate Programs are “stackable” – designed to allow the student’s Certificate credits to transfer into the Associate Degree programs.

YCCC is an excellent option for starting your higher education journey. We are affordable; we offer convenient on-site and online choices, and we are dedicated to and focused on student success (we are proud to be a member of the Achieving the Dream Network) and a quality academic and workforce-centered experience.

I look forward to seeing you soon and thank you for choosing YCCC!
