Office of the President

Welcome to the York County Community College 2017 – 2018 website, the official online access to the College. YCCC has so much to offer – an expansive array of quality credit programs and certificates; non-credit courses and programs; specialized training for our industry partners; and personal enrichment/cultural events for the citizens of York County. We take pride in putting our students and workforce partners first.

Whether you visit us for our Eggs and Issues Series, our Visiting Artists Series, or belong to our dynamic and innovative Senior College, we are delighted to welcome you to the YCCC family.

During this upcoming academic year, we are launching our student success efforts framed through the Achieving the Dream Network.  Student success is one of the goals in our 2018 – 2023 Strategic Plan and can best be expressed by the Student Success Statement which we approved through College governance this past academic year.

“At York County Community College, we celebrate each student’s individual success.  While we recognize academic progress as an important part of their journey, we appreciate the value of life experience, personal development, self-awareness and the pursuit of learning.

Connections and individual attention are at the heart of our relationship with students. Whether they spend a semester or several years at our college, students will leave knowing they have been part of a community that has invested in them as a whole person.  We are committed to empowering each student to achieve their full academic potential and accomplish their personal goals.”

Please stop by for a visit to our lovely Wells campus with its new 18,000 sq. ft. Pratt & Whitney Academic Building or to our site in Sanford which opened in September 2016.

Let YCCC be your first stop in your higher education journey. If you plan to transfer to a four-year college or complete a workforce-related certificate or program, get started at YCCC today!
