Certified Medical Billing and Coding Specialist

Certified Medical Billing and Coding: Medical Terminology; Medical Billing and Coding; ICD-10-CM; CPT and HCPCS Level II Coding; Abstracting Information from Medical Documents; New Patients, Insurance Claims and EOBs; Submitting Electronic Claims and CMS 1500; Blue Cross/Blue Shield; Medicare; Other Healthcare Programs; ICD-10-PCS; Survey of Hospital Billing; Career Roadmap for Medical Billing and Coding. A voucher to sit for the certification exam offered by National Healthcareer Association (NHA) is provided upon successful completion of the course.

Certified Pharmacy Technician

  • Certification Exam voucher included in program (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board)
  • Will complete virtual externship
  • Must complete acceptance application

Certified Pharmacy Technician: Orientation to Pharmacy; Pharmacy Law and Ethics; Pharmaceutical Calculations; Pharmacology I; Basics and Specific Populations; Pharmacology II; Body Systems – Neurological; Pharmacology III – Body Systems – Muscles, Heart, Lungs; Pharmacology IV – Multi-Body Systems; Communication Skills and Billing; Lab Practices I and II; Final Comprehensive Exam. A voucher to sit for the certification exam offered by National Healthcareer Association (NHA) is provided upon successful completion of the course.

Phlebotomy Certification

This program is currently FULL

  • 110 hours to complete course
  • 10 open seats for each cohort – there will be two cohorts
  • First cohort 5/4/2020-7/3/2020
  • Second cohort 8/3/2020-10/2/2020
  • Certification Exam (National Healthcareer Association), completed after course is completed
  • Must complete acceptance application

Certified Phlebotomist: Healthcare Setting and Quality Assurance; Infection Control; Safety; Medical Terminology; Anatomy Review; Circulatory System; Equipment and Procedures; Considerations and Capillary Punctures; Special Collections; Computers; Non-Blood Tests; Arterial Punctures; NHA Phlebotomy Exam Review. This course will prepare the student to sit for the certification exam offered by National Healthcareer Association (NHA) upon successful completion of the course.
