FREE CNA Training

YCCC and Biddeford Adult Education have partnered to provide a cost-free training for Certified Nursing Assistant. This program is being generously funded by Maine Quality Centers, allowing those in the program to complete the certification program at no cost.

This program includes 90 hours of classroom (a combination of online and in-person at the Biddeford Adult Education), 20 hours of lab, and 70 hours of clinicals. All applicants must submit an application, take the CASAS testing, and meet with the Biddeford Adult Education before acceptance in this program. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age; have a high school diploma or equivalent; be a Maine resident; and, underemployed/unemployed, or negatively impacted by covid-19.

YCCC is now pre-screening and qualifying applicants for the limited number of spaces available. Please fill out the inquiry form below or contact Kristen Wiegand, at ykwiegand@yccc.edu, for more information and an application. The seats are limited and applicants will be considered on a first-come first-serve basis for screening. Dates are to be determined, due to covid restrictions for clinicals.
Oops, we had a website glitch, so if you have submitted the form online, but have not heard back within two days, please submit your form again.
