Counseling & Wellness
YCCC offers individual counseling at no cost to actively enrolled students.
Brief, supportive counseling is available to help you process and manage personal events or situations that sometimes interfere with your ability to continue and complete your education. With counseling, you have an opportunity to explore new ways of thinking and behaving to improve your chances to succeed in your social, academic and work life.
For those who may be feeling the need for additional support, assessment and crisis management and referral is offered.
Wellness looks to enhance the health of the whole person and through Counseling & Wellness, you will have additional opportunities throughout the year to engage in activities that will address and explore physical, emotional and mental health options.
I encourage you to take advantage of Counseling & Wellness during your academic career so that you learn lifelong practices to improve and maintain your health.
