YC3 Vet Tech Club to host Maine Pet Oxygen Mask Project on 4/24

The Y3C Veterinary Technicians Club will be hosting the Maine Pet Oxygen Project for an on campus event on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 11am.
Pet owners and animal lovers alike are encouraged to join the Y3C Vet Tech Club for this hands on event where for only $70 each participant will be trained in pet CPR as well as receive a CPR booklet, DVD, and lifetime certificate. Each $70 participation donation then will enable the Maine Pet Oxygen Mask (POM) Project to purchase and donate POMs to local fire departments and train emergency personnel to use the masks.
The Y3C Veterinary Technicians Club promotes animal health and wellness to students in the Vet Tech field here at YCCC. They meet monthly to participate in community involvement and community education with area veterinary technicians. They are affiliated with the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America-Student chapter. This club utilizes in creating shadowing and mentorship opportunities for students. The club meets monthly for study groups, guest speakers and field trips to farms and barns within the State of Maine.
